Stepanek – Fognini Match preview. Vienna 2015
Stepanek plays well, but he is not fast enough, due to his age and the lack of game practice. Stepanek played unevenly in the match against Dennis Novak. Dennis would have won, if he had been more experienced. The Czech has powerful serve and a lot of experience, but Fognini is still better. Even though Fabio is not in his ideal form and makes many mistakes, he is still stronger.
Fabio Fognini is our pick.
Monfils – Lorenzi Match preview. Vienna 2015
Lorenzi is just returning from a series of clay tournaments. Не defeated Ram, but Monfils will be a hard nut to crack. Gael is back on form after an injury and is getting ready for the last Masters of the year. Lorenzi stands no chance in the upcoming encounter, as he doesn’t have enough skills to beat Gael.
Monfils will advance.
Berankis – Donskoy Match preview. Moscow 2015
Both players are on form, though Berankis moves a little bit faster. But it’s a big question whether he can maintain high speed for the whole match. Donskoy has an advantage of playing at home and is very motivated to do his best. Both guys are fine baseliners and don’t have strong serve. The one, who has more determination and physical strength will win.
In our view, Donskoy has slightly better chances to advance.
Cilic – Istomin Match preview. Moscow 2015
Cilic has won the Kremlin Cup in 2014. But he needed ranking points that year to secure a place in the ATP Final, so we don’t understand why he came to Moscow this time around. Cilic showed solid tennis in Shanghai, and we don’t think he will do the same in Moscow. Istomin is on form now, and he knows how to play against guys like Cilic.
It’s going to a close match.
Darsis – Ghasquet. Vienna 2015
Darsis had troubles playing even with weak Mannarino. Ghasquet is a lot tougher. Richard is a great returner, and Darsis stands no chance against him.
Ghasquet should easily win this game.

Such evaluation of Gasquet from the bookmakers is understandable. The Frenchman lost his two previous encounters in a row to Monaco and Nadal, which is a sign of a bad form from Richard.
