Tennis tips and betting picks: Rafa Nadal v Sam Querrey in the R3 at the Mutua Madrid Open
In the second round Nadal needed just 1 hour and 19 minutes to defeat Andrey Kuznetsov 6-3, 6-3. The Spaniard was relaxed and made an easy job of that match. Needless to say, that Kuznetsov is not the opponent to show 100% of tennis against him but now it’s not clear how will Rafa play the next contest. We guess he will save as much efforts as possible preparing for the highly probable match against Novak.
As for Sam Querrey, he has shown brilliant match against the qualifier Lucas Pouille. Even the backhand wing worked as it should have. Nadal is a very tough opponent and Querrey doesn’t have a lot of odds to outplay him but the American serves big. And this fact can’t be neglected. Nadal is a very inconvenient opponent for Sam. Even the weakest serve by Rafa shall be challenging for him. Kuznetsov hasn’t broken any of Nadal’s serve and Querrey will take at least as many games as the Russian did.
Betting pick: Dotennis bets that Rafael Nadal will win the match but Sam Querrey will take his six games.
