Tennis tips and betting predictions. Juan Martin del Potro versus Fabio Fognini. ATP Sydney 2015.
Juan Martin del Potro took a great first step on tour this season and beat Sergiy Stakhovsky 6-3, 7-6(4). We expected he would perform much worse but DelPo was playing great tennis. The only but is his backhand which doesn’t work out at the moment. And it’s all due to his serve and forehand shots that he managed to oust the Ukrainian. If Stakhovsky had been wiser and hit more balls to the Argentinean’s backhand, the outcome would have been different.
Now Delpo will face the famous Fabio Fognini from Italia. Right now this cheerful guy shows no tennis at all. His fellow Italian player Flavia Penneta must be engaging his every thought.
It is worth mentioning, that Penneta has already tumbled out and is only waiting for her love to join her. There are plenty of photos of the two on holidays, not on courts. Fogningi has previously showed something strange at the Hopman Cup so we don’t think he will display anything much better against Del Potro. The Argentinean has all chances to beat the Italian with his left hand behind his back!
But there are some tricks, as usually. First of them is the unpredictable behavior of the Italian. Secondly, Juan Martin’s excitement after his first success may play Old Harry with him. He has definitely spent much of his strength and efforts so it may happen so that the Argentinean would withdraw.
With all the above said, our Dotennis team advises you to select the negative handicap on Juan Martin. And better don’t bet on the Argentinean win as he is likely to withdraw from the match.
Let us remind you that it’s up to you to make a final decision. Our team doesn’t take any responsibility for the probable outcome. If you want to get more confidence – subscribe to our paid tips. Best of luck!
