Tennis tips and betting predictions. Kevin Anderson vs Federico Delbonis at the US Men's Clay Court Championship - Houston
The beginning of this season has been successful enough for Kevin Anderson. He has accidently lost it to Vesely and Yen-Hsun Lu in Delray Beach. All other defeats were obtained against top ranked opponents. But usually Kevin is used to performing strongly on hard courts while now we are talking about clay portion of the season, which is not suitable for the South African player. In 2014 Kevin participated only in Masters events on clay, played Roland Garros and a single match in Casablanca.
This year Anderson swapped the tournament in Casablanca to Houston courts. But actually there is no big difference. Firstly, Anderson still dislikes clay. Secondly, he faces troubles adapting to new courts. Thirdly, Kevin had a late exit at the tournament in Miami – only on the first of April! So he’ll definitely lack time to adjust to new playing conditions. So generally, despite the fact that clay in Houston is rather fast, we don’t believe that Kevin will be capable of showing very good tennis.
Federico Delbonis played a very good match against Berankis. The Argentinean had been very reliable both in attack and in defense. The serve was next to perfection as well. What is also important, unlike Kevin Anderson, Federico has already performed on clay this year.
The last meeting of the both happened in Indian Wells, where the South African player managed to come off victorious not without difficulties. Here on clay the match should be even more challenging for Anderson.
Dotennis team considers that it will be a close match with a slight advantage on Federico Delbonis’ side.

Such evaluation of Gasquet from the bookmakers is understandable. The Frenchman lost his two previous encounters in a row to Monaco and Nadal, which is a sign of a bad form from Richard.
